TAKE TEXAS BACK!
A bunch of thieves, thugs, and nutcases took over Texas. Then they used it as a stepping stone to Washington, DC.

They raided our treasury, stripped our schools and handed it all to their corporate cronies.

Y'all ready to do something about it?

Our Government at Work: Republicans Pitch Hissy Fits

by: Libby Shaw

Sat Nov 07, 2009 at 21:53:27 PM CST

Sigh.  Hissy fits?  OK.  Whatever. What else is new in GOP fantasy land?

As we know, the vast majority of the American people want health care reform.  AARP, the American Medical Association, among many other organizations, support health care reform as proposed by the U.S. House.

After a month or two of teabagging events, orchestrated town hall hate fests, all fueled by bused in protesters by Dick Armey and other self-serving greed mongers, i.e. the owners of Koch Industries, the vast majority of the American people want health care reform. Despite the fact that the health industry continues to burn millions upon millions of dollars in efforts to fight health care reform, that could, AHEM, be put to far better use, such as, treating patients, the American people want health care reform.

So, why can't we pass health care reform?  If the Republican obstructionists were not so married to their cash cows in the health industry, they would have been more honest with their constituents from the day the HCR discussion started.  There would have been few if any teabagging events and town hall hate fests with bused in protesters and beyond the pale of the   most despicable, i.e. the signs that depicted the WW2 Jewish Holocaust, Hitler and the most disgusting racist language that self-serving money can buy.

Meanwhile, back on the most corrupted ranch in the U.S., after Texas, of course, thanks to the Delay/Abramoff driven lobbying industry, watch our taxpayer funded spoiled brat bullying sore losers that oppose health care reform.

Obviously, though most war mongering Republicans are chicken hawks who never served, all are waging a fight to the death to protect their sugar daddy cash cows in the health industry.

The delusional liar below said we all have health care insurance.

Interesting. So how come nearly 50 million Americans have no health care insurance?

Is it teh stoopid or is King blinded by his cash cows in the health care industry?

Libby Shaw :: Our Government at Work: Republicans Pitch Hissy Fits
This loser, yet another war mongering chicken hawk, could not deal with the facts presented by a veteran and so the sore loser chicken hawk tore off his earpiece and stormed off the set.

There is more.

Meanwhile Taliban Pete Sessions is up to his usual stupid insults.

In his latest gaffe, Pete Sessions defended the insurance industry's practice of charging higher rates to women, comparing the practice to charging higher rates for smokers.

And, finally the the press, though not the pundits finally get the reality of last Tuesday's election.

Meanwhile back at the AARP ranch, following is the message of its most recent flyer.

Myths on Health Care Reform

Heath care reform will hurt Medicare.

Ain't so.

Health care reform means the government can make end-of-life decisions.

Nope.

Heath care reform means rationed care.

Are you kidding?

Obstructionists may like to know that a bunch of not so old folks get and read the AARP flyers.

I'm on Medicare.  What does all this talk of Health Care Reform mean to me?  Are they going to cut my benefits?  Who's looking out for me.

Republicans ain't, at least according to AARP, a non-profit organization.

The vast majority of the American expect and demand health care reform.

...here's george miller, in an instant classic, talking about the republican substitute bill:

this is a good lesson for democrats (as is grayson's recent discovery of huevos), and i would encourage more democrats who depend on centrist votes back in the district to consider this kind of outspoken approach.

there's a pretty good chance... (4.00 / 1)
...that miller will be in on the negotiations as this thing gets reconciled...which is about as good as the news can get.

The first order of business (4.00 / 1)
should be to get rid of the stupid Stupak-Pitts amendment which is both stupid and the pits.

This amendment was a cynical move to kill of health care reform.
